This agreement regulates the <strong>working conditions<\/strong> of employees in the metalworking sector, which includes many companies involved in the production, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. <\/p><p>The Metalworking CCNL is usually renewed every three years through negotiations between trade unions and employer associations. The latest renegotiation of the contract dates back to 2021, when new working conditions were established for the three-year period 2022-2024. <\/p><p>One of the most important features of the Metalworking CCNL is its <strong>national application<\/strong>. This means that the working conditions established by the contract are valid for all employees in the sector, regardless of their geographical location or the type of company they work for.  <\/p><p>On this page we explore some general aspects related to it, such as:<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"#livelli-inquadramento\">classification levels<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#tabelle\">pay between manual workers and specialized workers. Manual workers are those who perform predominantly manual tasks, while specialized employees are workers who perform coordination and management tasks. <\/p><p>Specialized employees, in particular, are those who have greater experience and competence in carrying out a specific work activity, while non-specialized workers perform less complex tasks.<\/p><p>Furthermore, within the category of specialized employees, further subcategories can be distinguished, such as those assigned to maintenance, production, logistics and various technical, commercial and administrative offices. This update, signed by Unionmeccanica Confapi together with FIOM CGIL and FIM CISL, is based on the Ipca adjustment communicated by Istat on June 7, 2024. Starting from June 1, 2025, the new amounts will come into effect, which include:  <\/p><ul><li>Contractual minimums<\/li><li>Travel allowance<\/li><li>On-call allowance<\/li><\/ul><p>These amounts will replace those established in the agreement of May 26, 2021. This annual update, provided for by the renewal agreement signed in 2021, reflects the current economic dynamics and aims to protect the purchasing power of workers in the sector. The initiative underlines the importance of constant dialogue between social partners to maintain a balance between business needs and workers&#8217; rights.  <\/p><p>In the table below we report the It is a sum of money that is paid by the company in favor of workers enrolled in the negotiated supplementary Pension Fund of reference for that specific collective contract. <\/p>\n<p>The company contribution for supplementary pension is due for all workers in the metalworking sector who join Fondapi, regardless of their level or job category.<\/p>\n<p>The company contribution and the employer&#8217;s contribution for supplementary pension are established through the definition of a percentage amount of the worker&#8217;s minimum wage. These amounts are then paid by the company to Fondapi together with the accrued TFR. <\/p>\n<p>Specifically for the metalworking contract, the minimum voluntary contribution is equal to <strong>1.2%<\/strong> of the tabular minimum of the reference level. If the worker makes this choice, the company, always on the tabular minimum, calculates <strong>2%<\/strong> and pays it. <\/p>\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>worker classified at fourth level
