Complaints and Reports

A “complaint” refers to a written communication that presents alleged irregularities, critical issues, or anomalies regarding the Fund’s operation to the Fund. Any complaints regarding participation in the Fund must be submitted in writing and addressed to: FONDAPI – Piazza Cola di Rienzo, 80/a – 00192 Roma, using the accompanying form called “Complaint Report” included in the forms section of the Fondapi website, or on plain paper, ensuring to submit the request with an original signature and legible contact details (without these, the plain paper request cannot be processed). The complaint should be sent by registered mail or regular mail  marking “complaint” on the envelope. For those who have a certified email address, it is also possible to submit via PEC (certified email) indicating “Complaint” in the subject line. Members also have the option to submit a complaint digitally through their personal area.

If the complainant is not satisfied with the outcome of the complaint or if there is no response within the maximum period of 45 days from receipt of the request, they may submit a report to COVIP (Pension Fund Supervisory Commission) at the address: Piazza Augusto Imperatore 27 – 00186 Roma. Alternatively, it can be sent by fax to 06.69506.306 or transmitted from a certified email address to: protocollo@pec.covip.it.

Reports addressed to COVIP must contain:

  • name and registration number of FONDAPI in the Register;
  • name, surname, address, and telephone number of the individual;
  • a clear and concise explanation of the facts and reasons for the complaint.

Without this information, the report will not be considered. The person submitting the report must also indicate that they have already contacted the Fund in question and that 45 days have passed since the request without receiving any response, or that they have received an unsatisfactory response (in the latter case, clearly explain the reasons for dissatisfaction), attach a copy of the complaint already sent to the Fund and any response received. Finally, please note that to make processing easier and faster, it is helpful to also attach copies of the main documents proving the described facts.
