Company contribution

The company contribution is an exclusive feature of negotiated pension funds like Fondapi. It offers workers additional financial support to build a supplementary pension, at reduced costs compared to other pension solutions.

What is the additional company contribution?

The additional contribution is an amount that the employer pays directly into the employee’s pension fund, in addition to the TFR (severance pay). It is provided for by national collective agreements and represents a financial incentive to join the fund.

How is it obtained?

To activate the company contribution:

  1. You must join Fondapi;
  2. Pay a minimum voluntary contribution in addition to the TFR.
    This step is mandatory: without your contribution, the company is not required to contribute.

How much is it?

The amount of the minimum contribution charged to the member and the additional contribution charged to the company varies according to the relevant collective agreement (CCNL) and is expressed as a percentage of the gross monthly salary.

Deductibility of the contribution

Contributions to the pension fund, both from the employee and the company, are deductible up to €5,164.57 per year. This means you can reduce your taxable income, obtaining an immediate tax saving.
